Hillbert’s journey

The old man beant low and whispered, “there there, young Hillbert, none shall harm you so long as you wear the glipity gloop of old.”

So young Hillbert dried his eyes, picked up his knapity sac, and marched off toward his destiny, which, as it turns out, wasn’t far away at all. See, the old man had lied to Hillbert, and when Hillbert reached the forest’s end, a whole army was waiting to destroy him, which they did. He had no hope, and died yelling, “What about the glipity gloop?” All who witnessed the massacre of young Hillbert agreed the whole thing was quite comical.

The joke was on young Hillbert.
