Words from a book that I didn’t write

As I am sick of staring at the previous post, an explanation of my own barely amusing joke, I thought I’d share something that Kurt Vonnegut shared with me not yet half a moment ago, through his book, “Timequake.”

After tracing each moment of a routine trip to purchase an envelope, Vonnegut gushes about his journey, “I go home. I have had one heck of a good time (219).”

He goes on.

“Listen: We are here on Earth to fart around. Don’t let anybody tell you any different.”

He also told a joke about the Chicago Cubs moving to the Philippines where they’d be renamed the Manilla Folders.
